FORT MYERS, Fla. (Dec. 27, 2019) – During the River District Alliance New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown Tuesday, Dec. 31, lucky Sanibel Captiva Community Bank patrons at the downtown branch ATM could once again receive a special surprise – a $30 windfall. The ATM will issue an undetermined number of $50 bills in place of $20 bills. The ATM is located outside the historic Edison Theater building at 1533 Hendry Street.
“We are a proud sponsor of the River District Alliance and the work they do to bring great events to Downtown Fort Myers. We like to show our support by doing something unexpected and welcome, especially given the time of year,” said Amy McQuagge, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank vice president and director of marketing. “In the past we’ve had such a great response with our $20s-for-$50s ATM swap, we thought why not do it again to give back to the community we love.”
The River District Alliance works to be a common voice to elected officials and local decision makers, and members of the RDA continue to be locally based merchants, residents and property owners within the boundaries of the River District-Downtown Fort Myers Redevelopment District.
