FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 9, 2026) – Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Melanie Ruh as a teller at the bank’s main office at 2406 Periwinkle Way on Sanibel.
In her role, Ruh will provide personalized customer service and assist clients with a variety of banking transactions while supporting the bank’s commitment to exceptional customer service.
Ruh brings more than 20 years of customer service experience to the position, including leadership and cash management responsibilities. Most recently, she served as assistant department manager for a national grocery store chain, where she managed cash office operations, handled customer service issues, balanced tills, processed financial transactions and supported daily store operations.
She also has previous banking experience as a teller with a community bank in New Jersey, where she assisted customers, processed transactions, balanced cash drawers and supported compliance and fraud prevention efforts.
