Kyle DeCicco joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank (SanCap Bank) in 2016 as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. As the Bank’s first commercial lender with extensive experience in commercial real estate and lending, credit analysis, portfolio management of performing and nonperforming loans, and management of FDIC insured Loss-Share assets he was tasked with growing the Bank’s commercial real estate lending portfolio with local businesses and investors. In 2021, at the age of thirty-six, he was named Bank President and a member of the Board of Directors. In 2023, he became President and Chief Executive Officer making him only the second CEO since the institution was created in 2023.
Under his leadership, the Bank has experienced exponential growth pushing total assets from $260 million to $850 million in seven years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the Bank’s work in administering the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program. As a result, the Bank processed over 1,100 loans for $109 million supporting Southwest Florida businesses, independent contractors, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. Kyle’s response to the ongoing challenges Hurricane Ian has caused Southwest Florida is to ensure the Bank is lending to those who need it most. Currently, over $70M in loans have been processed supporting HOAs, contractors, business owners and homeowners facilitating rebuilding efforts.
In 2017, Kyle completed the Florida Bankers Association Florida School of Banking, a rigorous three-year program that provides the opportunity for supervisory and officer-level bank personnel to increase their knowledge about the banking industry and economy. In 2022, he graduated from the prestigious American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He serves on the board of directors for The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and is the organization’s treasurer and a member of the Grant Selection Committee. Kyle is also a Captain-level Keel Club member of the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties.

John Wright is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. He joined the Bank in 2020 after relocating to Southwest Florida from Baltimore, Maryland. John has over three decades of experience in the financial sector with domestic and international profit & loss management and oversight including accounting, legal, operations, asset/liability, interest rate risk and credit/risk management, budget/sales forecasting, strategic planning, and internal audits. Before joining SanCap Bank, he was part of a two-person executive management team that orchestrated a turn-around at two different troubled banks implementing proper accounting and operational best practices.
He is the current chair of the Florida Southwestern State College Foundation which supports the strategic priorities of Florida Southwestern State College by providing additional funding resources. John also serves on the Lee County Horizon Council as a member at large for the public-private advisory group to the Lee County Board of Commissioners on economic development issues.
John graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and became a certified public accountant in 1990.
