FORT MYERS, Fla. (April 16, 2025) – Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is proud to sponsor the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s 11th annual Beer in the Bushes fundraiser, taking place April 19 at the SCCF headquarters at 3333 Sanibel Captiva Road on Sanibel.
Beer in the Bushes has become a beloved island tradition, bringing the community together to celebrate the end of the season with craft beer, food trucks and live music. Proceeds from the event directly support SCCF’s mission to conserve coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed.
As the only chartered bank on the island, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is deeply invested in supporting the environmental stewardship that makes the islands and Southwest Florida community so special.
“We are thrilled to support SCCF and their vital work through this fun, meaningful event,” said Kyle DeCicco, president and CEO of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. “Protecting the natural beauty of our islands isn’t just good for the environment—it’s essential for our way of life, our economy and future generations.”
Proceeds from Beer in the Bushes directly support SCCF’s mission to conserve coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva, and in the surrounding watershed.
