Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has surpassed $1 billion in residential mortgage loan originations through more than 3,125 loans it has approved for people throughout Southwest Florida.
“We are absolutely privileged to have assisted thousands of customers over the years with their residential mortgage needs, whether that’s purchasing or refinancing a home,” said David Wright, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank’s senior vice president of residential lending. “We pride ourselves on recognizing and valuing relationships with our customers, which allows us to find solutions where many other banks can’t or won’t. We look forward to continuing to serve the community that has been so good to us.”
The bank achieved the $1 billion milestone 11 years to the month after its residential lending division was created with two loan officers in 2008. The division now has eight loan officers and 14 additional loan servicing staff located in both Lee and Collier counties, which accounts for nearly 25% of bank employees.
