FORT MYERS, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2025) – Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has been honored by the City of Sanibel with an official proclamation recognizing the bank’s achievement of surpassing $1 billion in total assets. The acknowledgement reflects the bank’s long-standing financial strength and its sustained commitment to serving island residents, local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The bank’s growth since opening its doors in 2003 reflects decades of consistent performance, conservatively managed growth, and a strong focus on customer and community relationships. In the proclamation, the city specifically honored the bank’s contributions to Sanibel through its local investments and support for island residents, businesses and nonprofit organizations.
“Reaching this $1 billion milestone is a direct result of the trust our customers, employees and partners place in us,” said Kyle DeCicco, president and CEO of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. “We are deeply honored by the City of Sanibel’s recognition. We remain dedicated to reinvesting in our island community, building strong relationships, and helping local families and businesses thrive.”
With assets now exceeding $1 billion, the bank is strongly positioned to continue delivering its support for the local economy through relationship banking, local lending and community support programs, strengthening its tradition of relationship-based community banking.
