FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2026) – Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Cathy Berlin as a teller at the bank’s Main Office at 2406 Periwinkle Way on Sanibel.
In her role, Berlin will assist customers with a variety of banking transactions while providing the personalized service and relationship-focused experience that defines the bank.
Berlin brings more than five years of banking experience and over a decade of cash handling and customer service to the position. Most recently, she served as manager on duty at a local grocery store, where she oversaw front-end operations, managed cash transactions, addressed customer concerns and helped ensure smooth daily operations. Previously, she worked as a retail sales associate and cashier for the retailer.
Prior to relocating to Southwest Florida, Berlin spent five years as a teller with a community bank in Massachusetts. In that role, she processed customer transactions, balanced cash drawers, maintained compliance with banking regulations and assisted customers with banking products and services. Berlin holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts.
