At Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, we believe in investing in the next generation of leaders. This summer, we were proud to welcome our largest internship class to date, bringing together a talented group of students eager to gain hands-on experience while exploring careers in banking, business, finance, technology and customer service.
Representing colleges and universities across the country, our seven interns brought diverse backgrounds, academic interests and career aspirations to the program. Many have deep Southwest Florida roots and a shared commitment to learning, professional growth and community involvement.
They also quickly distinguished themselves as one of the most engaged and inquisitive intern classes we’ve ever hosted, asking thoughtful questions, seeking out new learning opportunities and embracing every aspect of the experience.
For a few weeks this summer, they worked alongside team members across the bank, gaining valuable insight into the operations of a locally owned community bank while developing skills that will serve them well in their future careers. Their enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to learn have made a positive impact across the organization and reaffirm the value of investing in future talent.
