Meet David

David Wright is Senior Vice President of Residential Lending and is based in our Main Office on Sanibel. David joined the Bank in 2008 to create and lead the residential lending division. Prior to joining the Bank, he held leadership positions in several financial companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Michigan. David has been writing home loans in Southwest Florida for 20 years and is extremely proud of the work, and team he has built at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank.

David is active in the community and presently serves on the Players Circle Theater’s board of directors. He has also served on the Sanibel-Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce, Ding Darling Wildlife Society and F.I.S.H. board of directors.

David and his wife Denise have six children between them, Brady Bunch style. They are crazy about their dog June Carter (if you recognize the name, you can imagine David’s playlist). Family and friends are at the center of their lives, so you will always find a full house at the Wright’s.
